Kalliope - Music for Seven String Guitar

An early version of my work "Kalliope" on a prototype seven string guitar by Kremona Guitars from Bulgaria. Recorded on January 19, 2013. The seventh string is tuned to “B.”

In Greek mythology, Kalliope is the Muse who presides over eloquence and epic poetry; so called from the ecstatic harmony of her voice. She has been called the "Chief of all Muses.” She is the mother of Orpheus.
